OCC keeps our city beautiful, and OCC: Concert Series shows us how our city is beautiful. Glen Ford founded Operation Clean City in Augusta, Georgia, in the late summer of 2014. At this time, he met the inspiration for what would eventually become Operation Clean City: Concert Series.

One night, Glen was walking outside a local bar and was drawn inside by the music of Phillip Lee Jr. Years went by, and continuing to be enamored by the Augusta music scene, Glen decided that he wanted to record music. He dreamed that Phillip would be the first artist that he would record. That dream never came true, as, unfortunately, Phillip passed away in September 2018.

Unable to attend the funeral due to deployment, Glen decided that as soon as he returned to the United States, he would host a music series, dedicating it to the life and music of Phillip Lee Jr, RIP.
